Corporate- General - Crypto​/Blockchain

Wilson Sonsini's Corporate practice is seeking an associate with 3-6 years of transactional (not regulatory) experience advising crypto and web3 companies on the following types of transactions:

• Venture capital financings including crypto token rights or token warrants
• Crypto token, digital asset and NFT issuances
• Primary and secondary sales of crypto tokens and digital assets; or
• Creation of offshore structures related to crypto token and digital asset issuances
• General corporate, compensation and employment matters

An understanding of blockchain technology and markets required. Familiarity with the securities law and regulatory issues around crypto tokens is a plus.

Clients in this practice group represent technology and growth companies at all stages of their development from seed-stage start-ups to large private companies and publicly traded companies in a diverse range of industries, including fintech, artificial intelligence and digital media and entertainment.

Preferred location is San Francisco, but we also will consider candidates in Los Angeles or New York.
Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range of $260,000 - $390,000, based on year classification.
• Discretionary merit bonuses may also be awarded.
