OpenAI is looking for a professional to join our Pretraining Safety team in San Francisco. In this role, you will work on developing safer and more capable AI models, and help evaluate safety throughout the pre-training stages. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and apply novel approaches to identify and mitigate unsafe behaviors.
The ideal candidate has experience with various pretraining architectures, strong programming skills, and a passion for data-driven research. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to significantly influence the AI safety field.
Compensation ranges from $295K to $445K.
