Our differentiated architecture seamlessly integrates hardware, software and system level technologies to maximize the efficiency of GPU, CPU and accelerator-based compute clusters at any scale. Our solutions drive breakthroughs in AI & HPC workloads, empowering our customers to push the boundaries of innovation. Backed by top-tier venture capital and strategic investors, we are committed to innovation, performance and scalability - solving the world's most demanding computational challenges with our next-generation networking solutions.
We are a fast-growing, forward-thinking team of architects, engineers, and business professionals with a proven track record of building successful products and companies. As a global organization, our team spans multiple U.S. states and six countries, and we continue to expand with exceptional talent in onsite, hybrid, and fully remote roles.
Cornelis Networks is seeking a Global Field CTO to serve as a highly visible technical leader and trusted advisor across customers, partners, and the broader AI infrastructure ecosystem. This is not a traditional pre-sales, solutions architect, or management role. It is a market-shaping position for an experienced technology leader who can influence customer strategy, represent Cornelis Networks in the industry, and help guide the future direction of our products and solutions.
The Global Field CTO will work directly with executive leadership, product management, engineering, strategic customers, and ecosystem partners to help define the future of AI networking infrastructure. This role sits at the intersection of technology, customer engagement, product strategy, and industry influence.
The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage executives, architects, engineers, researchers, and industry thought leaders alike.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish Cornelis Networks as a recognized technical leader across AI, HPC, cloud, sovereign AI, and next-generation datacenter infrastructure markets.
* Influence customer technology strategies and architecture decisions through trusted advisor relationships.
* Accelerate adoption of Cornelis networking solutions through technical leadership, advocacy, and ecosystem engagement.
* Shape future product direction through direct engagement with customers, partners, and industry leaders.
* Strengthen strategic relationships with hyperscalers, cloud providers, OEMs, research institutions, and key ecosystem partners.
* Expand market awareness and technical credibility for Cornelis Networks within the rapidly evolving AI infrastructure landscape.
* Elevate technical knowledge and customer engagement effectiveness across the broader organization.
* Serve as a senior technical spokesperson for Cornelis Networks at customer meetings, industry conferences, analyst briefings, webinars, podcasts, and ecosystem events.
* Develop and deliver compelling presentations, demonstrations, technical papers, blogs, and thought leadership content that communicate the value of Cornelis networking solutions.
* Engage deeply with strategic customers to understand technical challenges, workloads, infrastructure requirements, and long-term technology roadmaps.
* Drive advanced technical engagements with hyperscalers, next-generation cloud providers, OEM partners, research organizations, and enterprise customers.
* Collaborate closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to support strategic opportunities, proof-of-concept activities, pilot deployments, and customer success initiatives.
* Identify emerging market opportunities, technology shifts, competitive threats, and workload trends that create new opportunities for Cornelis Networks.
* Act as a conduit between customers and internal product teams, ensuring customer requirements and market feedback influence future product direction.
* Provide input on technology strategy, product roadmaps, performance priorities, architectural decisions, and competitive positioning.
* Help validate next-generation networking architectures and identify future requirements for AI training, large-scale inference, and hyperscale infrastructure deployments.
* Coach and enable field teams on technical positioning, competitive differentiation, customer engagement, and industry trends.
Required Qualifications:
* 15+ years of experience in networking, datacenter infrastructure, semiconductors, AI, HPC, cloud infrastructure, or related technology…
