About The Role

The role is responsible for translating complex business questions into actionable insights and data assets. This position works closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to define core metrics, build foundational dashboards, and conduct deep-dive analyses that drive product strategy. The ideal analyst combines technical proficiency in SQL and data visualization with a strong business sense to identify trends, uncover product friction points, and systematically measure the impact of new feature rollouts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain automated dashboards and self-service reporting tools in Tableau or Looker to track company-wide KPIs.
  • Write complex, optimized SQL queries to extract and aggregate clean datasets from Snowflake and Redshift data warehouses.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand user behavior, diagnose retention shifts, and identify growth opportunities.
  • Partner with product managers to design rigorous A/B test experiments, determine sample sizes, and analyze post-experiment results.
  • Define, document, and test analytics schemas and events in collaboration with data engineering teams using dbt (data build tool).
What We Are Looking For
  • 1-3 years of experience in a data analyst, product analyst, or business intelligence role, preferably within a fast-paced technology company.
  • Advanced SQL proficiency, including experience writing complex window functions, CTEs, and optimizing query performance.
  • Hands‑on experience with modern business intelligence platforms, specifically Looker (LookML) or Tableau.
  • Solid understanding of statistical concepts related to experimental design, A/B testing, and hypothesis testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or similar).
  • Bonus:
Experience with Python or R for data manipulation, or working knowledge of modern data stack tools like dbt and Fivetran.
