Opportunity
The Unity Global Communications team is seeking a Senior Social Media Manager to serve as the lead expert for our global social presence. We are looking for a seasoned strategist who can bridge the gap between high-level brand goals and sophisticated channel execution. You will support owning our social ecosystem, driving a unified strategy that integrates organic storytelling, targeted paid amplification, and specialized executive communications.
What you’ll be doing- Strategic Portfolio & Optimization:
Own the prioritization, delivery, and performance of a comprehensive social portfolio. You will apply an expert-level understanding of platform algorithms and audience behaviors to optimize content for maximum reach and engagement. - Integrated Paid & Boosting Strategy:
Serve as the subject matter expert for social performance, designing sophisticated paid/boosting frameworks to amplify Unity's most critical stories. - Executive Social Presence:
Own the end-to-end social strategy for Unity’s executive leadership (VP+ level). You will act as a strategic consultant, shaping their digital voices to influence the industry landscape. - Cross-Functional Influence:
Act as a key collaborator across business units, engaging with peers and Directors to ensure social initiatives support cross-company projects. - Operational Excellence:
Identify and implement more efficient ways of achieving success, reducing complexity in our social workflows, and anticipating potential roadblocks before they impact delivery.
- Experience:
8-10+ years of experience in social media strategy, communications, or digital marketing, with a proven track record of managing complex portfolios for global brands. - Strategic Mastery: A practitioner who navigates with ease between ground-level execution and big-picture views, ensuring both are reflected in the final output.
- Advanced Social Expertise:
Deep technical knowledge of social platforms, particularly the interplay between organic content and paid growth strategies. - Autonomous Execution: A professional who delivers high-quality work based on their own judgment, requiring only occasional refinement on the most complex projects.
- Team Development: A mentor-mindset with the ability to identify opportunities to further develop team capabilities and workstream dynamics.
- Content Creation Capabilities:
Hands-on experience in short-form video production, design, or copywriting to help prototype or refine social-first assets. - Industry Insight: A deep understanding of the gaming, ad tech, or real-time 3D technology landscape.

SalaryGross pay salary
$129,000 — $190,000 USD
