Aboutthe role
We are seeking a Senior Principal Product Manager to lead strategy, vision, and execution for Content Discovery at Warner Bros. Discovery. This is a senior individual contributor leadership role with broad influence across product, engineering, data science, design, editorial, marketing, analytics, and executive stakeholders.
In this role, you will shape the next generation of discovery experiences and services that help users find the right content at the right moment. You will define the strategic direction for a critical product domain, identify high-value customer and business problems, and drive a portfolio of initiatives that improve how users discover and choose content across our global streaming products.
This role requires both strategic range and technical depth. You will operate across near-term optimization and long-term innovation, including evaluating how the latest generation of frontier models can reimagine our content discovery algorithms, user understanding, and decisioning systems. You will help define where these models can create meaningful step-function improvements, where hybrid approaches are required, and how to bring those capabilities into production in a scalable, measurable, and responsible way.
Your work will influence core customer experiences on a global scale and will be visible to senior leaders across the company.
The ideal candidateThe ideal candidate has deep experience leading product strategy for ML-driven consumer products at scale, particularly in content discovery, search, recommendations, personalization, ranking, or related domains. You have a strong track record of defining strategy in ambiguous spaces, aligning senior stakeholders, and translating complex technical capabilities into products that drive measurable customer and business impact.
You are equally comfortable setting long-term vision, debating technical tradeoffs with engineering and data science, and using experimentation and analysis to sharpen product direction. You bring strong product judgment, high standards, and a clear point of view on how to build simple, effective experiences on top of sophisticated systems.
You also have a forward-looking perspective on how frontier AI models can reshape discovery experiences. You understand both the promise and the practical constraints of applying these models to real-world consumer products, and you can distinguish durable product opportunities from short-lived hype.
What you will do- Define and drive the product strategy for Content Discovery, aligning long-term vision with company goals, user needs, and business priorities.
