Database Developer - Expert

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Database Developer - Expert to join their team. As a Database Developer
-Expert, you will be part of the Database Administration department supporting large-scale enterprise database platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

• Support and evolve Oracle, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server environments through maintenance, migrations, upgrades, and automation.
• Optimize database performance, availability, and reliability through tuning, capacity planning, and workload analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to support high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Troubleshoot production issues end-to-end, develop cleanup scripts, and drive root-cause analysis.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and best practices for database operations.

• 12+ years of hands‑on Oracle Database Administration experience, including RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
• Experience with database maintenance, upgrades, migrations, patching, backup/recovery, and lifecycle management.
• Proficiency with Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and Golden Gate.
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills, including performance tuning and optimization.
• Scripting and automation experience (shell scripting, Perl, Power Shell) to streamline operations.
