Network Technician

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Network Technician.

• Be patching cabling between network equipment and customer’s network.
• Be installing the power cables from equipment to power supply in rack/cabinet/closet.
• Be installing, troubleshooting and de-installing network equipment.
• Be installing/swapping out devices (e.g., phone, computers, cables, boards, edge routers, switches and etc.)
• Be installing, troubleshooting, and de-installing Network General remote Sniffers.
• Be completing all hard and complex Move, Add Change (MAC) requests within the defined service levels.
• Be acting as interface between customer’s associates and management.
• Be providing hardware break-fix services for network infrastructure.
• Be performing onsite call-through, data, voice, website and security testing.
• Be performing back-up testing to ensure all systems are connected to the customer’s network as directed.

• 5 years of experience in data communications.
• Basic knowledge of Cisco Phones, switches and routers
• Basic knowledge of local and wide area networking.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Proficient in utilizing technical tools such as Sniffers, BERT testers, cable testers, and fiber testers.
• Familiar with 66 Block and 110 Block cross connect procedures.
• Understand cable patching processes and procedures.

Between $25.00 – $28.00 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
