This Statement of Work defines the scope, expectations, and performance standards for the Strategic Projects Lead (RCC-12). This role is designed for a high‑intensity operator capable of executing complex, high‑stakes initiatives in a demanding, in‑person environment. The Strategic Projects Lead will drive mission‑critical projects end‑to‑end while interfacing directly with technical AI researchers and cross‑functional stakeholders. The position requires exceptional ownership, structured thinking, and the ability to perform under sustained pressure.
CompensationStructure
- Base Salary Range: $110,000 – $150,000
- Work Arrangement:
Full-time, in-person in San Francisco, CA
- Own and execute high-priority strategic initiatives from inception to completion
- Operate effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Interface directly with technical AI researchers and operational teams
- Translate ambiguous problems into structured execution plans
- Drive accountability across cross-functional stakeholders
- Maintain velocity and performance in an intensive, in-person work environment
This role requires a willingness to work extended hours (60–70+ hours per week) consistent with a high-performance operational culture.
Required Qualifications- Demonstrated history of strong execution in high-pressure environments such as top-tier investment banking, management consulting, or high-growth startup operations
- Proven ownership of large, complex initiatives delivered end-to-end
- Clear and structured communication skills
- Comfort operating in ambiguous environments with minimal oversight
- Direct exposure to AI systems, tools, or workflows
- Experience at Goldman Sachs, MBB (McKinsey, BCG, Bain), Catalyst, or similarly high-output organizations
- Prior Strategic Projects Lead or human data operations experience at companies such as Scale AI, Mercor, Surge, or similar
- Background in healthcare or healthtech
- Demonstrated experience integrating AI tools into operational workflows
- Ability to independently lead and deliver complex initiatives
- Effectiveness in working directly with AI researchers
- Execution speed and quality under pressure
- Clear ownership and accountability
- Demonstrated comfort operating in an intense, in-person environment
This is a full-time, in-person role based in San Francisco, California. Ongoing employment is contingent upon performance and alignment with organizational objectives.
