Senior UX Designer; Design System

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, computer science, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• Proven experience (5+ years) in UI/UX design, specifically in a Design System capacity
• Understanding of systems design, tokens, and atomic design principles
• Experience designing in technical, B2B solutions
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
• Strong UI skills and understanding of design systems in Figma
• Experience with user research methods, prototyping tools, and usability testing
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
• Experience with data visualization and/or dashboard design
• Experience designing for AI and Agentic AI technologies

• As a Senior UX Designer on the Design System team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing the foundational styles, patterns, and UI elements for Tanium solutions across our entire platform
• The projects you’ll be working on will require new ways of engaging with our solutions, to continue bringing AI strategies to Tanium product solutions
• You will be charged with working with cross-functional teams to create intuitive, visually appealing, and highly functional interfaces that meet the needs of our customers
• Tanium delivers comprehensive, autonomous management of endpoints, including security, incident response, patching, change management, and performance monitoring capabilities
• Design System Design:
  Design repeatable, scalable patterns and componentry to be leveraged by both design and engineering
• User Interface Design:
  Design and prototype user interfaces for enterprise software applications, ensuring seamless navigation, usability, and accessibility
• User Experience Enhancement:
  Conduct user research, analyze feedback, and iterate on designs to optimize user experience and satisfaction
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with product managers, software engineers, and UX/UI designers to understand requirements, refine features, and deliver high-quality solutions
• Prototyping and Testing:
  Develop interactive prototypes to validate design concepts and usability and conduct usability testing to gather actionable insights for improvement
• Documentation:
  Document design decisions and best practices to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team
