Inventory Technician IV

Role Overview

Astreya is seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient Inventory Technician IV to support operations within our client’s fast-paced environment. In this role, you will serve as a critical steward of IT asset accuracy, owning the organization, documentation, and lifecycle tracking of hardware, peripherals, and network equipment.

Organize and maintain dedicated inventory areas, manage the full lifecycle of IT peripherals and related assets, conduct regular cycle counts, and reconcile discrepancies against internal asset tracking and inventory management systems.

This is a client-facing role requiring strong organizational discipline, a proactive mindset, and the ability to operate independently with minimal supervision. You will partner closely with site operations teams to implement best-in-class inventory practices and provide hands‑on support for physical infrastructure.

• 5+ years of experience in IT asset management, inventory control, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated proficiency with inventory management systems (e.g., Service Now, Snipe-IT, or similar ITSM/ITAM platforms)
• Strong understanding of IT hardware and peripherals
• Experience conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining accurate asset records
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs
