The Opportunity
Employee Brand & Communications is a fast‑paced team responsible for internal communications that align and activate employees as confident brand, culture, and product advocates. We are a forward‑thinking team of communicators who build trust, product proficiency, and pride from the inside out.
We are seeking a Senior Manager, Employee Communications, to lead internal communications related to Finance, Legal, and IT. This highly valued role will partner closely with functions including Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, Finance, and IT to deliver global and targeted employee communications.
This role will impact how we inform, educate, and guide employees on cybersecurity risks and practices, critical policies, regulatory requirements, technology changes, and data protection practices. The ideal candidate will have a history of impactful employee communications experience and be a strong writer and communications advisor who can translate complex legal and technical topics into actionable messaging for a global employee audience.
Whatyou’ll Do
- Develop and implement comprehensive internal communications strategies supporting Legal, Privacy, Finance, Cybersecurity, and IT programs. Partner closely across the Employee Communications team to ensure connection and alignment.
- Serve as a trusted communications partner and advisor to senior leaders including the Chief Information Officer, Chief Security Officer, and Chief Privacy Officer.
- Work as a close partner across our communications ecosystem, including regional communications, executive communications, and public relations.
- Anticipate reputational, cultural, and employee trust implications of sensitive topics and guide messaging accordingly.
- Own the development and execution of communications plans, and transform complex technical information into clear, actionable communications.
- Partner with Cybersecurity and Privacy teams to develop and manage incident response communications for security incidents.
- Lead creative, compelling employee awareness campaigns on cybersecurity and risk mitigation.
- Build clear, effective messaging and change communications for Finance and IT initiatives.
- Maintain a communications roadmap for these functions and build communication practices and processes.
- 8-10 years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related field.
- Experience supporting Legal, Security, Privacy, Compliance, Finance, or regulated environments preferred.
- Exceptional communication capabilities, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly articulate complex, nuanced issues.
- Experience advising executive leaders at senior levels.
- Excellent judgment in high‑risk, confidential situations.
- Experience with crisis communications and incident response.
- Innovative thinking and the capacity to take risks and push Adobe in new directions.
- Inherent curiosity, with an appetite for an exciting opportunity on a collaborative team.
- Capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $109,000 – $210,900 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $145,600 – $210,900. In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long‑term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
