About Owner
Owner is an AI-native system designed to help local business owners succeed, beginning with restaurants. We replace the many tools they use to run their business with a single integrated platform that powers websites, online ordering, CRM, POS, and more.
Role OverviewYou will be the IT Associate responsible for the end-to-end technology experience across our San Francisco office, executive team, and warehouse operations. Your focus will be ensuring devices, networks, conference rooms, and operational systems are reliable, secure, and ready to scale.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the IT backbone of our San Francisco office. Provide fast hardware, reliable WiFi, and fully functional conference rooms that support daily work and executive meetings.
- Enable executive and leadership effectiveness. Deliver white‑glove device and AV support to ensure board meetings, investor calls, and all‑hands sessions run smoothly without technical interruptions.
- Build scalable systems. Design and implement asset management, onboarding, and network infrastructure playbooks to support rapid growth beyond current headcount.
- Own the warehouse IT stack. Maintain scanners, terminals, printers, and other physical systems critical to operations, ensuring they remain online, documented, and resilient.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally. Support all teams—from SDRs to engineering—and act as a trusted IT partner across the organization.
- Work tightly with Security and Platform. Ensure endpoint posture, MDM configuration, and SaaS access controls are secure, scalable, and tightly managed.
- Strong macOS fluency is required, with solid working knowledge of iOS and preferably exposure to ChromeOS and Android.
- Experience managing device fleets end‑to‑end—including MDM enrollment, imaging, and asset tracking—with a self‑service mindset.
- Comfortable with networking fundamentals: configuring access points, troubleshooting connectivity, and handling basic VLAN and WiFi tasks independently.
- Admin‑level proficiency with Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and familiarity with the broader SaaS stack.
- Inclination to automate repetitive tasks—through MDM workflows, scripting, or ticket routing—identifying and eliminating inefficiencies.
- Experience supporting senior leaders, demonstrating proactivity, discretion, and the ability to act quickly with minimal friction.
- Comfortable operating with ownership and without rigid playbooks.
