Position: SAP QA Manager

- Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for applications.
- Ensure comprehensive functional, integration, regression, performance, and UAT testing.
- Validate APIs, services, and map layers through manual and automated test cases.
- Perform cross-browser and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent application performance.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and teams to align testing activities with project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or similar tools.
- Perform root cause analysis and defect triaging, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with QA best practices, testing standards, and utility industry regulations.
- Provide test progress reports and key metrics to stakeholders.
- Contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable, especially in API testing and workflow validation.
- Support automation efforts for repetitive validation tasks, while manual testing remains the primary focus.
- Lead and mentor a testing team, ensuring effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and offshore units to execute test cycles smoothly.
- Engage in client discussions, requirement analysis, and testing signoffs to ensure business expectations are met.
We are seeking a SAP QA Manager to manage end-to-end testing activities for applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables, compliance with industry standards, and smooth execution of test cycles.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge on SAP systems for testing SAP PM and other SAP modules, strong utilities domain expertise, experience in test planning and execution, defect management, and stakeholder coordination.
Additionally, exposure to test automation, including Tosca, is preferred.
RequirementsExperience:
8-10 years in test automation and functional testing.
At least a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or closely related field.
