  • Investigate data policy violations or incidents and assist with root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with IT and legal teams to address audit or regulatory inquiries.
  • Maintain audit logs and response documentation for internal and external review.
  • Serve as the interface between the Info Sec team and stakeholders in legal, compliance, privacy, and business units.
  • Provide technical guidance for assessments and broader data-related initiatives.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop dashboards and executive-level summaries that reflect compliance posture and risk trends.
  • Document control effectiveness, known risks, and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • 5–7+ years of experience in data protection, privacy operations, or security compliance.
  • Demonstrated success building or leading elements of a data governance or compliance program.

  • Hands-on experience with technologies such as:
  • Data classification tools
  • Endpoint protection and compliance monitoring
  • Understanding of NIST, ISO, and related compliance control frameworks.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CIPP/US are strongly preferred.
