We are partnering with a next-generation AI and software company on the appointment of a Managing Director / VP of AI Strategy & Commercialization.

The successful candidate will sit at the intersection of product, technology, commercial strategy, and AI innovation, helping to define the company's AI vision, accelerate product adoption, and translate emerging AI capabilities into scalable revenue-generating solutions.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded AI leader who understands both the technical realities of modern AI systems and the commercial strategies required to bring innovative products to market.

• Define and execute the company's AI strategy, ensuring alignment between product innovation, customer needs, and commercial growth objectives.
• Drive the transition from AI experimentation and proof-of-concepts into scalable, production-ready products and platforms.
• Identify and develop new AI-driven products, features, and commercial opportunities that create measurable customer value.
• Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Go-To-Market teams to accelerate product delivery and market adoption.
• Shape the future direction of Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLM-powered workflows, and intelligent automation capabilities across the platform. Build frameworks for measuring product success, customer adoption, monetisation, and long-term business impact.
• Work directly with enterprise customers and strategic partners to understand market requirements and influence product roadmap decisions.
• Lead AI commercialisation initiatives, including product positioning, pricing strategies, market expansion, and strategic partnerships.
• Build and scale high-performing teams across AI strategy, product innovation, and commercial enablement.
• Act as a key advisor to executive leadership on AI market trends, competitive positioning, and emerging technologies.
• Represent the business externally with customers, investors, partners, and industry events.

• Proven leadership experience within high-growth technology, SaaS, AI, or software businesses
• Demonstrated success taking AI-enabled products from concept through to commercial launch and market adoption
• Strong understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, Agentic AI, Machine Learning, and modern AI application architectures
• Experience working closely with engineering, product, and data science teams in product-led environments
• Track record of driving product growth, customer adoption, and commercial outcomes through AI innovation
  
  Strong understanding of modern software development, cloud-native platforms, APIs, data platforms, and AI ecosystems
• Experience building and scaling teams within fast-paced startup or scale-up environments
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate effectively in ambiguity and make strategic decisions in rapidly evolving markets.
