Pay Range: $90 - $100 per hour on W2
Job Summary: We are seeking an Integration Engineer to design, develop, and support secure file-based integration solutions within AWS cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with AWS Transfer Family, Lambda/Python development, Terraform, and enterprise file transfer platforms. This role requires strong cloud integration expertise, operational support experience, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain file-based integration solutions using AWS Transfer Family (SFTP, FTPS, FTP, AS2).
- Develop AWS Lambda functions using Python for workflow automation and file processing.
- Configure and manage AWS services including EC2, IAM, Security Groups, Route
53, Load Balancers, and SNS. - Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Git Lab CI/CD pipelines.
- Design highly available, secure, and scalable integration architectures.
- Provide production support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, monitoring solutions, and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver integration solutions and continuous improvements.
- 2+ years of software development or systems integration experience.
- 2+ years of enterprise file transfer experience.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Transfer Family (SFTP, FTPS, FTP, AS2).
- Strong AWS Lambda development experience using Python.
- Experience with Terraform and Git Lab CI/CD.
- Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, IAM, SNS, Route
53, and Load Balancers. - Understanding of security protocols including TLS/SSL, SSH, and OAuth.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Cloud Watch.
- Experience with ITSM tools such as Service Now.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Availability for on-call production support.
- IBM Sterling File Gateway (SFG).
- IBM Secure Proxy, Connect, Sterling Control Center, or Axway Secure Transport.
- Banking or financial services industry experience.
- Knowledge of PCI-DSS, SOX, and data privacy compliance requirements.
- Dynatrace or similar APM tools.
- AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect, Developer, or Security Specialty).
- Experience working in highly regulated environments.
