** IT Support Technician (Contract) - San Francisco / South San Francisco*
* We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician for an ongoing contract opportunity in the Bay Area. This is a hands-on role supporting office and lab environments across multiple onsite locations.

* + 3 days onsite in San Francisco, CA

+ 2 days onsite in South San Francisco, CA

* Key Responsibilities:

*
* + Provide Level 1 & 2 support for hardware, software, networking, and user account issues

+ Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft 365 environments

+ Install, configure, and deploy hardware and software in accordance with IT standards

+ Support conference room AV systems and onsite vendor/network activities

+ Collaborate with remote IT teams on system rollouts, patching, and upgrades

+ Maintain IT inventory and assist with equipment lifecycle management

** Requirements:*
* + 2-4 years of IT helpdesk or desktop support experience

+ Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, macOS, and Microsoft 365

+ Experience supporting multiple environments or locations

+ Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)

+ Familiarity with ticketing systems (Zendesk or similar)

+ Strong troubleshooting and communication skills

+ Ability to commute between San Francisco and South San Francisco sites

+ Bonus: experience with Intune and/or Azure AD
