Role Description

As the Senior Product Manager for DCS Learning Technology, you will play a key role in developing and implementing Certification systems and processes that support our Product Education strategy. You will collaborate closely with the Customer Success Group (CSG), a team dedicated to global enablement of our customers by bridging the skills gap in the market and empowering customers through learning programs.

Your role will involve working on various projects and programs related to Certification to further CSG's business objectives and ensure their success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Development and Management
  • Lead the end-to-end product certification process
  • Analyze the current state of certification and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
  • Develop and maintain a feature roadmap for certification products
  • Ensure product functionality meets business and customer requirements
  • Requirements Gathering and Documentation
  • Facilitate workshops to capture detailed requirements and business processes
  • Collaborate with global cross-functional stakeholders to align business objectives with functional requirements
  • Deliver story mapping, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Validate if problems require technical solutions before engaging engineering resources
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with internal groups, vendors, and consultants to design and build systems according to specifications
  • Manage communications between internal and vendor Product Managers and business stakeholders
  • Represent the end-user perspective in discussions with leaders, Solution Architects, and Engineers
  • Implementation and Testing
  • Coordinate with engineering for requirements hand-off and build demonstrations
  • Plan and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Draft test scenarios and qualify QA issues against requirements
  • Provide training to key business stakeholders
  • Post-Implementation Support
  • Contribute to Change Management and User Adoption strategies
  • Serve as the first level of support during Hypercare
  • Develop post-implementation support strategies and transition plans
  • Ensure smooth operation and maintenance of existing certification systems
  • Continuous Improvement
  • Proactively identify areas for enhancing efficiency and user satisfaction
  • Address user-reported issues and bugs to improve the end-user experience
  • Collaborate with teams to remove blockers and discrepancies impeding progress

  • Demonstrate a self-starter mentality, capable of delivering results with minimal oversight
  • Embody a "get it done" attitude, taking initiative to overcome obstacles and meet deadlines
  • Effectively collaborate with team members across different time zones, adapting communication and work schedules as needed

  • Proactively identify and address challenges, seeking solutions independently before escalating issues
Minimum Requirements

8-10 years of experience in product management (or comparable roles) with a focus on learning technologies and Certification systems.

Strong analytical and technical skills in information technology.

Product Certification or Learning domain expertise is a plus.

Experience working in Salesforce product ecosystem as a Product Manager or in comparable roles.

Experience working on global implementations.

Experience working with both business and technical teams, participating in solution design, working with globally distributed development and testing teams in different time zones.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Self-starter with a 'get it done' attitude and a strong sense of team spirit;
Able to work quickly and accurately under pressure and time constraints.

Ability to deliver results with large-scale, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced agile environment.
