You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
The Equipment Supply Chain (ESC) team is responsible for the end-to-end supply chain management of critical equipment and materials for Google's data centers. Procurement Operations is a key function within ESC, ensuring that equipment is purchased and delivered to sites efficiently, cost-effectively, and predictably. This team works closely with Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Planning, Delivery, and Site Execution teams.
You will lead strategic programs and initiatives within the Equipment Supply Chain (ESC) Procurement Operations team. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving significant improvements in the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of procurement processes for Google's data center builds. You will own complex, cross-functional programs from conception through implementation, ensuring on-time delivery of critical infrastructure. This role requires a blend of program management expertise, technical understanding, supply chain knowledge, and strong leadership skills to influence stakeholders across various organizations.
