Job Title: SAP ABAP Developer (Strong BTP Experience)

We’re looking for a highly experienced SAP ABAP on HANA Technical Lead to drive end-to-end design, architecture, and delivery for cutting‑edge S/4

• Own the end‑to‑end technical architecture and delivery of ABAP on HANA solutions within S/4
  
  HANA (RICEFW, custom Fiori apps, and BTP integrations)
• Lead solution‑design workshops with client architects and functional teams; deliver HLDs, LLDs, and technical documentation
• Design and build HANA‑optimized ABAP solutions, including CDS Views (annotations, associations, table functions), AMDPs, and code pushdown techniques
• Develop OData services (SEGW & RAP‑based)
• Architect and develop custom SAP Fiori applications, including SAPUI5 and Fiori Elements (List Report, Object Page, Overview Page), Flexible Programming Mode, and Fiori Launchpad configuration, deployment, and security
• Deliver end‑to‑end Fiori lifecycle management (UI, backend services, security, deployment on ABAP/HANA or BTP)
• Design and implement SAP BTP solutions, including side‑by‑side and in‑app extensions using CAP, integrations via SAP Integration Suite (CPI), API Management, and Event Mesh, and usage of BTP services such as Destination, Connectivity, XSUAA, and BA
• Define and enforce clean core principles, development standards, and SAP extensibility best practices
• Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and performance tuning using tools like SQL Monitor, ATC, and Runtime Analysis
• Lead and mentor distributed teams (onshore/offshore) across ABAP, Fiori, and BTP development
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, business analysts, and enterprise architects to drive solutions and resolve escalations
• Manage development lifecycle using CI/CD pipelines, abap
  
  Git, TMS, and Cloud ALM/Solution Manager
• Act as a technical authority, setting standards and guiding cross‑team design decisions
• Stay ahead of SAP innovation (ABAP Cloud, RAP, BTP, AI/Joule) and recommend adoption strategies

• 9–15 years of SAP experience, with strong hands‑on ABAP expertise
• 4+ years of ABAP on HANA experience, including at least 2 full S/4
  
  HANA implementations as Technical Lead

• ABAP on HANA (CDS, AMDP, performance optimization)
• SAP Gateway & OData (V2/V4)
• Fiori Launchpad setup, deployment, and security
• App extensions, Smart Templates, Smart Controls
• Working knowledge of at least one S/4
  
  HANA functional area (FI/CO, MM, SD, or PP)
• Proven experience leading client‑facing workshops and stakeholder presentations
• Strong experience producing architecture and technical design deliverables
