IT Specialist

Overview

Insight Global is seeking an IT Specialist for a 3 month contract to hire opportunity sitting on-site in San Francisco, CA. As the IT Generalist, you'll help build and maintain a broad array of enterprise systems, networks, and technologies. Reporting to the Head of IT and Security, this role serves as a critical member of the IT team. It requires a solid understanding of general IT knowledge, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, proficiency in workflow automation, and the ability to learn quickly and adapt to various challenges.

You will identify and build solutions that impact business processes and workflows, interfacing both internally and externally with vendors and consultants to support technology solutions. Position requires someone who has knowledge with MacOS systems, in depth knowledge of JAMF and Google Workspace administrative duties. This would require someone who is task oriented, proactive communicator as each week may be a different priority.

Seeking someone eager, willing to learn and grow within the company. This resource will be managing a complex environment of MacOS and Windows systems with client-based security requirements. This resource will be working with the Head of IT for different client priorities when it comes to IT support.

• Support and maintain a broad array of enterprise systems, networks, and technologies on-site in San Francisco, CA.

• Manage a complex environment of MacOS and Windows systems with client-based security requirements.

• 3-5 years of experience in a technical support role in an IT operations environment.
• 3 years of experience with MacOS, iOS and Windows.
• Okta experience and SSO (grouping controls for applications, group-based control permissions, architecture of boarding process that requires SSO).
• Intermediate level experience with JAMF or JAMF Pro (set up, supporting enrollment, policy creation, encryption keys).
• 3 years of Google Workspace experience (administrative status, supporting not just users).
• Zoom experience.
• Certifications (A+, Net+, Sec+, Cloud, etc).
• SAAS experience, SaaS applications.
• Workflow automation.
• JIRA experience.
• Agile environment.
• Bug tracking.
