Overview

We are seeking a Sr. Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) to join our Strategic Accounts organization. In this highly visible role you will guide AWS customers along their multi‑year journey to the cloud, ensuring that all AWS teams work together effectively to deliver customer outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

As a critical partner to customers, you will:

  • Leverage your experience with large‑scale agentic AI and cloud transformations to shepherd customers through the operational, educational, and governance aspects of a successful AWS cloud journey.
  • Interface with customer and AWS leadership, driving collaboration across Sales, Support, Solutions Architecture, and Professional Services teams, and translating strategic initiatives into executable actions.
  • Manage cadence by leading reporting and tracking functions, and execute education plans, roadmap to business outcome alignments, Executive Briefing Sessions, and technical customer engagements.
  • Evangelize AWS services, influence adoption, and proactively solve customer challenges through new ideas, tools, and mechanisms.
  • Implement governance structures to govern both the partnership with the customer and the customer’s adoption of AWS.
  • Think big, invent, and take ownership on customer challenges.
  • Work 15%‑30% travel across the calendar year.
Basic Qualifications
  • bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, business, or equivalent field;
  • 10+ years of experience in customer‑facing technology roles such as solutions architecture, customer/field engineering, technical account management, technology consulting, or enterprise technology strategy;
  • 5+ years of experience engaging with executive or senior customer stakeholders (Director+ level) to drive business outcomes through technology adoption;
  • 3+ years of hands‑on cloud computing experience, including architecture patterns, workload migration or modernization strategies, or workload optimization.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience advising C‑suite or executives on cloud strategy, digital transformation, or Gen‑AI/agentic strategy;
  • Familiarity with generative AI/agentic AI concepts and the ability to facilitate strategic conversations on Gen‑AI use cases and business impact;
  • Experience managing a portfolio of complex, high‑value workloads across industry verticals;
  • Technical depth in one or more areas: cloud migrations, application modernization, data & analytics, infrastructure optimization, security & compliance, or AI/ML/Gen‑AI/agentic;
  • Track record of building trusted‑advisor relationships with external customers, resulting in measurable business outcomes such as revenue growth, workload expansion, or executive sponsorship;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive‑level narratives;
  • AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate, Certified AI Practitioner, Machine Learning, or equivalent) or demonstrated equivalent technical depth.
