The RoleYou'll work on a real research problem at the intersection of geophysics and modern ML. The summer's output will feed directly into how we explore for uranium in the field. With a strong fit, this internship can lead to a full-time offer.
Requirements- Currently pursuing an MSc or PhD in geophysics, applied physics, computational physics, applied mathematics, or a closely related field
- Strong scientific computing skills (Python, the standard stack)
- Interest in applying modern ML to geoscientific problems
- Hands-on experience with ML methods on real geoscientific data
- Background in exploration geophysics
- In-person in San Francisco
