We are seeking experienced Data Center Technicians with strong hands‑on skills in server hardware, fiber handling, and rack & stack operations. The role is primarily physical and operational, supporting data center deployments and break/fix activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and replace CPUs, memory, drives, and disk caddies
Perform disk swaps, drive replacements, and basic hardware troubleshooting
Work confidently with motherboards, PCIe slots, risers, and PCIe adapters
Rack and stack servers, network, and storage equipment
Execute clean and structured cable management (copper and fiber)
Handle single‑mode and multi‑mode fiber, including cleaning, routing, labeling, and patching
Maintain proper bend radius and data center best practices
Follow installation guides and remote instructions accurately
Support break/fix and deployment activities as required
3+ years hands‑on experience in a data center environment
Strong server hardware experience (Dell, HPE, Supermicro, or similar)
Proven experience with fiber cabling and patch panels
Excellent rack & stack and cable management discipline
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Basic understanding of networking and system connectivity (support level)
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is preferred but not mandatory
Relevant hardware, data center, or cabling certifications are a plus
Willingness to travel to data center sites on short notice
Flexible to work nights and weekends when required
Must be comfortable working in live data center environments
Strong attention to detail and clear communication skills
Access to or familiarity with standard data center tools and ESD practices
