We are searching for an AV Service Technician to join our growing San Fransisco team. The AV Service Technician is responsible for the troubleshooting and recommissioning of small to large scale AV systems. The typical issues are Enterprise AV systems with audio DSP but may also include large scale complex systems including higher education classrooms, campus technology, auditoriums, divisible conference spaces, command/control centers, stadiums, and houses of worship.
Job Responsibilities- Remounting monitors, speakers, and microphones
- Loading programing and DSP files to hardware and networked devices
- Assisting with setup and support of Remote Monitoring tools like Utelogy, XiO, and Reflect
- Ticket & RMA management
- Updating and providing feedback for as built drawings
- System recommissioning and end user training
- Some travel required depending on project and skillset
- Tools and van provided
- 5+ years and deep knowledge of AV systems
- CTS preferred
- Experience reading line drawings
- Component level experience with AV/UC manufacturers including Crestron, Extron, Biamp, QSC, AMX, Logi, Cisco, Poly, etc.
- Updating DSP and AV configuration files
- Great customer skills with a focus on customer satisfaction and communication
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and use a ladder
- Pay- $40-45/hr with potential bonus at year end
