About the Role
We’re hiring Customer Solutions Engineers to drive technical implementations of its flagship ERP product and new products in development. This is a customer‑facing role with real product influence. You’ll spend most of your day talking to customers, leading implementation and onboarding for net‑new customers (the team onboards 5‑8 net‑new customers per week), and shaping the product based on what you see in the field.
The Customer Solutions Engineer team is currently 9‑10 people, the largest team after engineering. We’re promoting internally to create team lead positions, and this hire will report to a team lead. You'd be involved in product feedback loops, proposing new features based on customer work, and helping reduce time‑to‑value across the onboarding process.
What You’ll Own
Lead technical implementations of our ERP product and newer products for net‑new customersManage a book of customers from onboarding through go‑live, reducing time‑to‑valueRun deep customer conversations daily to understand workflows, surface issues, and translate them to productPartner with the product team to propose new features grounded in real customer behaviorBuild and improve onboarding processes to scale the team as we growRequirements
Must‑Have
1‑6 years of customer‑facing technical experience (solutions engineering, implementation, or comparable)Strong technical fluency: can read API documentation, understand integrations, and translate technical concepts for non‑technical customersExcellent communication: comfortable leading customer conversations and managing multiple accounts simultaneouslyHigh agency operator who can navigate ambiguity in a fast‑paced startup environmentSF in‑person, 5 days a week (no remote option for this role)Nice‑to‑Have
Prior implementation or solutions engineering experience at an early‑stage B2B SaaS startup (pre‑Seed through Series C)Construction tech, fintech, or accounting software adjacencyStartup tenure at pre‑Seed through Series CTop 20‑30 schools with engineering or technical degrees Multi‑year tenure at a previous roleVisa Sponsorship
