Job Title: Product Manager – Enterprise Data & Reporting
Job Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract / Long-Term
Role OverviewAs a Product Manager, you will own the product strategy, roadmap, and execution for enterprise data and reporting solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering, analytics, and data teams to build scalable reporting platforms, drive AI adoption, and deliver actionable insights that support critical business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Own the product roadmap and lifecycle for enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into well-defined product features and user stories.
- Prioritize product backlog, manage intake of new initiatives, and drive roadmap planning.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable datasets, semantic data models, and reporting solutions.
- Define product success metrics, KPIs, and adoption goals while continuously measuring business impact.
- Promote strong data quality, governance, metadata, and documentation standards across reporting platforms.
- Enable self-service analytics by improving reporting usability and educating business users on best practices.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for BI and reporting development.
- Evaluate emerging AI and analytics technologies to improve reporting capabilities and user productivity.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development and productivity tools to accelerate product delivery.
- Establish repeatable product management processes, templates, and governance practices.
- Partner with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Data, Analytics, and Business Operations to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 6+ years of Product Management experience focused on Data, Analytics, Business Intelligence, or Reporting platforms.
- Experience managing enterprise-scale data products throughout the complete product lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and backlog management.
- Experience writing detailed product requirements, acceptance criteria, and user stories.
- Hands-on experience working with Jira or similar Agile project management tools.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience defining KPIs, product metrics, and success measurement frameworks.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with Tableau, Thought Spot, or other enterprise BI platforms.
- Familiarity with Databricks or modern cloud-based data platforms.
- Exposure to AI-powered productivity and analytics tools such as Git Hub Copilot, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of Natural Language Query (NLQ) and AI-enabled analytics capabilities.
- Experience working with enterprise data governance and data quality initiatives.
- Knowledge of supply chain, retail, or enterprise operations analytics is a strong plus.
