About the Role
A Technical Writer in the Content Experience organization role focuses on producing documentation, online help, guides, videos, and in‑app assistance for the Agentforce Sales application. The writer will collaborate with product managers, engineers, and UX designers in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities- Own, create, and maintain documentation and in‑app assistance for Salesforce applications, primarily Agentforce Sales.
- Support scrum teams and use Agile processes to deliver high‑quality content on time.
- Create content for various formats, including written guides, help topics, UI text, videos, and tutorials.
- Ensure documentation adheres to style guidelines and is accessible, accurate and up to date.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather information, clarify requirements, and improve content quality.
- Under 2 years of experience as a writer, editor, or developer.
- Recent undergraduate or graduate (within 12 months of graduation).
- Ability to adhere to established styles and documentation processes.
- Rapid learning of new technologies and tools.
- Experience creating online help.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of XML or HTML.
- Team‑player and customer‑advocate mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or communications field.
- Experience documenting software.
- Video and image editing using Camtasia or similar.
- Use of source control (Perforce, Git).
- Authoring tools such as Oxygen XML Editor.
- Familiarity with Markdown and AI tools such as Claude, Code, or Cursor.
Base salary range: $87,000 – $96,000 annually (U.S.). In select markets (San Francisco and New York City ), the range is $105,000 – $105,000. Salary does not include bonus, equity or additional benefits.
