Technology Instructor Responsibilities

  • Respond to end-users and clients on technology‑related issues and questions, providing coaching and best‑practice advice.
  • Prepare, organize, and conduct educational and end‑user support activities.
  • Communicate with, evaluate usage patterns of, and recommend best practices to attorneys and staff to ensure optimal use of the firm’s technology.
  • Collaborate with subject‑matter experts in designing, documenting, and delivering curricula and job‑support solutions on in‑house programs.
  • Deliver firm‑wide, regional and local technology instruction in‑person or online.
  • Design and develop video, written and visual content; record and edit audio and video for teasers, recaps, and software video tips.
  • Write technical articles for the internal knowledge base on identified issues, resolutions and work‑arounds and on locally managed applications.
  • Make best‑practice recommendations on commonly used firm‑supported applications; assist IT developers and attorneys and staff.
  • Maintain records of instructional activities and attendance, evaluate program effectiveness, and monitor employee progress.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree and minimum of three (3) years of experience in technology training in an adult learning environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of office productivity software and Microsoft and mobile operating systems.
Compensation and Benefits

For positions in San Francisco, CA, the salary range for this position is: $81,640.00 – $. The final salary or hourly wages may vary based on prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. Compensation may also include a range of medical, financial, and other benefits such as 401(k) eligibility, paid time off (vacation, sick time, parental leave), and additional benefits depending on the position offered.

Employment is at‑will; the firm reserves the right to modify base salary and other compensation or benefit programs at any time.
