AWS Cloud Architect – Consulting Practice Lead
Key Responsibilities- Lead and grow our AWS cloud consulting practice
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost‑effective cloud solutions for clients
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members
- Develop cloud adoption strategies and migration plans
- Conduct client workshops and presentations
- Stay current with AWS services and best practices
- 7+ years of experience with AWS cloud architecture
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification
- Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and compliance
- Experience leading teams and managing client relationships
- Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills
- Background in consulting or professional services preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of core AWS services:
- Compute: EC2, Lambda, ECS, EKS
- Storage: S3, EBS, EFS, Glacier
- Database: RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora, Redshift
- Networking: VPC, Route 53, Cloud Front, Direct Connect
- Security: IAM, KMS, WAF, Shield
- Management & Governance:
Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, AWS Config
- Proficiency in designing and implementing:
- Highly available and fault‑tolerant architectures
- Serverless and microservices architectures
- Dev Ops and CI/CD pipelines using AWS services
- Multi‑account strategies and AWS Organizations
- Disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
- Experience with AWS cost optimization strategies and tools
- Familiarity with AWS Well‑Architected Framework and its five pillars
- Understanding of hybrid cloud architectures and AWS Outposts
- Knowledge of AWS compliance programs (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOC)
- Ability to leverage AWS SDKs and CLI for automation and scripting
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Cloud Formation or Terraform
- Demonstrated ability to conduct AWS account and application assessments, perform cloud readiness assessments and TCO analyses, create detailed cloud migration strategies and execution plans, and optimize existing AWS environments for performance and cost
