Pricing Strategy Analyst

This is a unique opportunity at the intersection of economics, analytics, product, and strategy. You'll combine rigorous quantitative analysis with customer research and commercial thinking to shape how a high-growth software company prices, packages, and monetizes its products.

Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll influence company-wide pricing strategy through data, experimentation, and customer insights.

• Analyze product usage, deal, financial, and billing data to model pricing, packaging, and monetization scenarios.
• Develop frameworks to evaluate willingness to pay, customer value, and price realization across customer segments and product offerings.
• Research pricing strategies, packaging models, and monetization approaches across relevant markets.
• Lead pricing and packaging strategy for new product launches in partnership with Product, Go-to-Market, and Finance teams.
• Build value-based pricing and econometric models to measure price elasticity, customer ROI, lifetime value, and commercial impact.
• Design and execute pricing experiments to optimize pricing and packaging decisions.
• Translate quantitative analysis, customer research, and competitive intelligence into executive-level recommendations.
• Lead customer and market research to understand purchasing behavior, value perception, and pricing friction.
• Partner closely with Product, Analytics, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Legal to deliver end-to-end pricing initiatives.
• Define KPIs, dashboards, and reporting to measure pricing performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Continuously improve pricing and packaging strategy to drive revenue growth, customer adoption, and long-term value realization.

• 5-8 years of experience designing or operating SaaS or sophisticated B2C pricing models, preferably with usage-based or behavioral pricing.
• Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related quantitative discipline strongly preferred.
• Deep expertise in SQL and Python for large-scale data analysis.
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.
• Hands-on experience with pricing research methodologies including Conjoint Analysis, Max Diff, Gabor-Granger, Van Westendorp, or similar techniques.
• Strong understanding of econometrics, pricing experimentation, causal inference, and value-based pricing.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantitative analysis into actionable business recommendations.
• Track record of driving measurable improvements in revenue, margins, customer lifetime value, or net revenue retention through pricing initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence executive stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate across Product, Analytics, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Legal.
