Senior Automation Engineer

The Automated Software Tester is responsible for supporting Quality Engineering initiatives for the Fed Cash Central application, a critical system that manages currency and coin processing operations for the Federal Reserve. This role involves designing and executing detailed feature-file scenarios, building automated tests using the Cucumber framework, validating data through advanced query techniques, and ensuring quality assurance across Central environments.

• Strong proficiency in writing and interpreting complex data SQL queries for cloud-based environments.
• Practical experience in creating automated tests using Cucumber Gherkin in Cypress, Playwright, Selenium.
• Experience designing feature files and developing step definitions.
• Background in functional, regression, and integration testing for enterprise applications.
• Experience with defect management and tracking throughout the defect lifecycle.
• Experience with ALM for test case and defect management, and familiarity with Jira

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum for this position is $65/hr to $70/hr on w2.
