Job Description
UCSF is seeking a Desktop Support Analyst to provide onsite technical support for clinical and administrative end users in a healthcare environment. This individual will be responsible for troubleshooting desktop hardware and software issues, supporting Windows and Mac devices, managing Service Now incidents, and ensuring a high level of customer service while working in patient care and treatment areas.
The ideal candidate has strong desktop support experience, is comfortable interacting with clinicians and healthcare staff, and can effectively resolve technical issues in a fast-paced environment.

- 2+ years of desktop support, field support, or IT support experience.
- Experience supporting both Windows and macOS environments.
- Hands-on Service Now experience, including ticket triage and incident management.
- Experience troubleshooting desktop hardware and software issues.
- Experience supporting printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals, including connectivity troubleshooting.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a highly visible onsite support role.
- Comfortable working in hospital, clinical, or patient care environments. Previous UCSF experience strongly preferred.
