IT Business Analyst
For our client, we are seeking a Third Party Risk Analyst Security GRC to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a life sciences environment.
Location:
San Francisco, CA - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Compensation: $255,000 – $270,000 annually
Responsibilities- Own and manage the Mission Critical vendor portfolio, ensuring risk treatment aligns with business impact
- Oversee the Highest-Risk vendor portfolio to ensure appropriate depth in security and compliance assessments
- Support incident response initiatives by coordinating assessments and risk treatments post-incident
- Conduct risk assessments through the established intake workflow, determining residual risks accurately
- Manage the TPRM issue workflow, documenting risks and tracking treatment to resolution
- Maintain and improve the TPRM Risk Agent's functionality through testing and calibration
- Contribute to key performance reporting for risk portfolio management
- 5-7 years in executing vendor risk assessments in a tech company
- Strong grasp of risk management concepts and their practical application
- Proven ability to evaluate vendor risks across multiple domains (security, privacy, compliance)
- Demonstrable success in driving risks to resolution amid competing priorities
- Experience in creating or enhancing LLM-backed workflows or automation for risk processes
- Familiarity with issue management workflows and the related tracking systems
- Understanding of business continuity and concentration risk as it applies to vendor management
- Visa sponsorship provided for eligible candidates
