Job Overview

Christina Theodoris,MD,PhD, leads a research laboratory at the Gladstone Institute of Cardiovascular Disease and Gladstone Institute of Data Science and Biotechnology. The lab develops foundational AI models using large‑scale biological data to understand gene‑network dynamics and accelerate the discovery of network‑correcting therapeutics. The laboratory is seeking an AI research engineer with a strong background in computer science and machine learning.

The research engineer will develop novel AI models for network biology, collaborate with computational and experimental biologists, and use state‑of‑the‑art GPU computing infrastructure. • B.S. in Computer Science (M.S. in Computer Science or Machine Learning highly beneficial)
• Advanced competency in Python and Bash
• Experience with PyTorch, GPU computing, HPC computing, Slurm, and Git Hub
