Overview

We are seeking a software Product Manager to lead the enhancement and evolution of several in-house proprietary software tools. These tools support critical functions in the areas of retail point of sale, merchandise management, consignment sales, and item tagging workflows. The ideal candidate combines strong product management fundamentals with hands-on familiarity in retail operations or consignment environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Roadmap Execution:
  Collaborate with leadership to maintain and evolve the product roadmap across multiple customer-facing software tools.
• Retail-Focused Feature Management:
  Collect and prioritize feedback specifically related to inventory management, consignment tracking, merchandise intake, and tagging processes.
• Requirements Gathering:
  Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., retail, logistics, finance) to gather and document functional and technical requirements for enhancements and fixes.
• Rapid Prototyping:
  Work closely with UX designers to develop Figma wireframes to support feature validation and development criteria
• User Story Development:
  Write clear, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria for the development team—focused on improving workflows such as inventory receiving, tagging, POS integration, and sales reconciliation.
• QA & UAT Oversight:
  Lead the QA process for new features and changes, with a particular focus on retail scenarios such as barcode/tag accuracy, pricing, and item tracking.
• Feature Review:
  Validate developed features and fixes before deployment to ensure they meet user expectations and business requirements.
• Release Notes & Documentation:
  Write internal release notes and user communications for new feature rollouts, enhancements, or system updates.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in a software product management role, preferably within a retail or consignment-focused business.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with writing user stories, managing product backlogs, and collaborating with development teams.
• Experience managing mobile app products for iOS and Android devices
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Wrike, or similar platforms.
• Experience with Figma.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially when translating technical requirements into business language.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandise systems, consignment sales platforms, POS systems, or inventory/tagging tools is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of consignment tagging workflows, pricing rules, and vendor payout processes is a plus.
• Experience with CRM applications, relevant user personas, and related data models
• Familiarity with barcode/tag printing or product intake systems.
• Background in QA, technical writing, and/or business analysis.
• Experience with Miro or similar collaboration tools.
