Defend cutting-edge AI systems from evolving threats as a Staff Detection and Response Engineer at Writer Inc. You will build sophisticated detection systems for prompt injection and data poisoning while creating automated response capabilities across GPU clusters. This role is pivotal in defining AI security engineering at a global scale for enterprise model deployments.

• Work at the absolute forefront of AI security, defending high-value GPU clusters and distributed training environments against novel threats that don't exist in textbooks yet.
• Join a rapidly growing Series C enterprise AI platform that holds prestigious ISO 42001 and HIPAA certifications, ensuring security is a core product pillar and business differentiator.
• Define the future of automated response and detection-as-code in an environment where you protect model weights and training data for the world's largest companies.

• Design and implement detection strategies for AI-specific threats including prompt injection, model extraction, and data poisoning across distributed infrastructure and model weights.
• Build automated response playbooks and orchestration workflows that contain threats without human intervention, reducing mean time to response from hours to minutes for compromised inference endpoints.
• Lead security incident response coordination across Cloud, App Sec, and AI Research teams during forensic investigations of training pipeline attacks or model manipulation attempts.

• Has 3-5+ years of experience in security operations or incident response, with a proven track record of securing high-performance computing, AI/ML infrastructure, or distributed systems at scale.
• Possesses strong programming skills in Python, KQL, or SPL to build custom detection logic and automate response workflows that operationalize security across cloud-native environments.
• Demonstrates deep expertise with SIEM platforms and forensic techniques, particularly in identifying novel attack patterns within complex distributed computing environments before they become incidents.
