Workday HCM & Security Consultant
We are seeking a skilled Workday professional with expertise in Core HCM and Workday Security to support configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Workday platform, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Design and configure Core HCM components including organizations, job profiles, positions, and supervisory structures.
Configure and manage business processes for hire, termination, transfers, and lifecycle events.
Maintain organizational hierarchies, eligibility rules, and HCM configurations aligned to business needs.
Perform data audits and troubleshooting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and workflow efficiency.
Build reports and dashboards using Workday Report Writer.
Provide L2/L3 support for Workday Security across HCM and related domains.
Design and maintain security groups, domain policies, and business process security.
Manage JML (Joiners Movers Leavers ) processes and user access provisioning.
Troubleshoot security incidents, access issues, and audit findings.
Conduct security audits, SoD analysis, and compliance support for regulatory requirements.
Support security enhancements, releases, and integration security (ISU, OAuth, APIs).
Maintain security documentation, access matrices, and governance artifacts.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Workday Core HCM and Security configuration.
Knowledge of organizational structures, job profiles, and business process frameworks.
Good knowledge of Workday security model, business process frameworks, and reporting tools.
Experience in security troubleshooting, access validation, and compliance requirements.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Strong understanding of HR processes, data governance and compliance requirements.
Preferred Experience
Workday Certification in Core HCM or related modules.
Experience with related modules such as Compensation, Recruiting, and Absence Management.
Prior involvement in Workday implementation or optimization projects.
Soft Skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy compliance, and risk mitigation.
