About the Foundation:

The Open Claw Foundation is the steward of the world's largest open source AI agent project. Its mission is grounded in a foundational conviction: that AI must be open, safe, and ultimately owned by the individuals and communities who use it.

The Foundation operates across three core mandates:

  • Advancing research into the human-agent relationship while continuously evolving the Open Claw platform;
  • Maintaining and hardening the codebase to ensure security, reliability, and long-term sustainability;
  • Establishing interoperability standards for the emerging agent era, defining how agents configure, communicate, establish trust, transact, and represent user identity across ecosystems.

Modeled after the governance structures that shaped the open web and modern computing infrastructure, the Foundation serves as a neutral, multi-stakeholder convening body — the equivalent of W3C or the Linux Foundation for the agentic AI era. Major laboratories and infrastructure providers collaborate under its umbrella on shared, vendor-neutral infrastructure, with no single organization controlling the roadmap or direction.

The Open Claw Foundation believes that individuals should have full sovereignty over their AI: their data, their interactions, and the behavior and personality of their agents. Open source is not incidental to this mission but central to it — code must remain free to use, modify, and build upon. The future of agentic AI will be defined by a broad, developer-driven community, not prescribed by any single commercial interest.

The Role

The Open Claw Foundation is seeking a Technical Partnerships & Program Manager to serve as the technical bridge between the Foundation, its strategic partners, and the broader open-source community.

This is a highly cross-functional role focused on enabling successful technical collaboration across organizations. You'll partner closely with the Executive Director, Strategic Partnerships Lead, Engineering, Developer Relations, and Product teams to ensure organizations adopting, integrating with, or contributing to Open Claw have an exceptional technical experience.

You'll guide partners through technical discovery, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, unblock complex engineering efforts, and translate ecosystem feedback into actionable priorities for the Foundation. You'll also help facilitate technical working groups and interoperability efforts that advance Open Claw's mission.

If you enjoy solving complex technical coordination problems, working across organizational boundaries, and helping build one of the defining open-source AI ecosystems, we'd love to talk.

What You'll Do Technical Partner Engagement
  • Partner with the Strategic Partnerships Lead and Executive Director during technical conversations with prospective Foundation members and ecosystem partners.
  • Understand partner architectures, AI infrastructure, deployment models, and technical objectives.
  • Evaluate technical fit and identify opportunities for collaboration around Open Claw, interoperability, and emerging standards.
  • Represent the Foundation in technical discussions with AI labs, cloud providers, enterprises, research organizations, and developer communities.
Partner Enablement & Technical Collaboration
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for strategic ecosystem partners.
  • Help organizations successfully adopt, integrate with, and contribute to the Open Claw platform.
  • Coordinate technical onboarding, architecture reviews, and developer enablement efforts.
  • Work alongside partner engineering teams and Foundation maintainers to troubleshoot technical challenges and remove adoption barriers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution across Engineering, Developer Relations, Product, and community contributors to ensure successful partner initiatives.
Technical Program Management
  • Lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives spanning multiple internal teams and external organizations.
  • Develop project plans, coordinate milestones, manage dependencies, and proactively identify technical risks.
  • Drive partner-driven initiatives from planning through successful execution.
