AV Support Technician (Junior)
Location:
San Francisco, CA – 100% Onsite
Contract:
09/07/2026 – 12/31/2026 Openings: 1
Hours:
40/week Pay Rate: $37–$39/hr Bill Rate: $51.80–$54.60/hr Status:
Re-opened on 8/24 for backfill
- 2–4 years AV support, IT helpdesk, live event production, or similar technical support.
- Hands-on AV troubleshooting/support experience.
- Google Workspace / Google Meet hardware / ChromeOS familiarity.
- Basic AV signal flow: audio, video, control, EDID.
- Cable knowledge: HDMI, USB-C, CAT
6. - Basic networking concepts related to AV.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Comfortable supporting conference rooms and live events.
- Able to work onsite in San Francisco.
- Able to lift 20+ lbs.
- AVIXA CTS
- Dante Certification
- ITIL
- Live audio mixing / video switching
- Experience with ticketing systems and AV documentation.
Look for a Junior AV Technician / AV Support Technician / Conference Room Technician / IT Support Technician with strong AV exposure. Candidates coming from corporate AV, conference-room support, or live event production should be prioritized.
Screening priority: AV troubleshooting + Google Meet/Workspace + onsite SF availability + 2–4 years relevant experience.
