As a San Francisco - DAT - Intern, you will engage in a dynamic learning environment, gaining exposure to PwC's practices and methodologies within our Assurance practice. You will support teams by participating in projects that focus on digital assurance, helping clients gain confidence in their financial reporting and decision-making. This role offers a unique opportunity to observe and contribute to the success of client engagements, while developing your skills in auditing methodologies and compliance.

As an Intern, you will adopt a learning mindset, taking ownership of your development by actively listening, asking questions, and expressing ideas clearly. You will gather information from various sources to analyze facts and discern patterns, contributing to the team's success. This role emphasizes the importance of appreciating diverse perspectives and applying professional standards, all while upholding the firm's code of conduct.

• Supporting audit teams by participating in digital assurance projects
• Observing and learning from experienced auditors to understand auditing methodologies
• Assisting in the application of compliance and governance processes within client engagements
• Engaging in basic tasks and research to contribute to project goals
• Participating in the development and testing of artificial intelligence platforms for audit processes
• Applying cloud engineering principles to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness
• Gathering and analyzing data to identify patterns and insights for audit reports
• Accepting feedback constructively to improve performance and understanding
• Actively listening and communicating effectively with team members to support project objectives
• Developing an understanding of internal controls and their application in audit scenarios

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study:
  Accounting, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer and Information Science, Information Technology
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment or the educational requirements for licensure as a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
• Client service intern positions are considered entry-level roles. Candidates are typically in their third year of a four-year degree program or fourth year of a five-year program at the time of application

• Preference for a 3.5 overall GPA
• Leveraging AI to create efficiencies, innovate ways of working and deliver distinctive outcomes
• Gaining exposure to auditing methodologies and compliance standards
• Developing skills in cloud engineering and cybersecurity governance
• Participating in projects involving data quality assurance testing
• Observing and learning from experienced auditors in financial reporting
• Supporting teams with active listening and communication skills

The salary range for this position is: $29.25 - $48.00. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
