Are you a technical builder who thrives at the intersection of cloud computing and generative artificial intelligence (GenAI)? Do you want to help ambitious startup founders turn bold ideas into production-ready AI systems? If so, we have a role you should know about.
As a Startup Solutions Architect on the Frontier AI Startups team at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will partner directly with early-stage companies that are developing, training, tuning, and deploying next-generation AI models will serve as a trusted technical advisor, helping founders and engineering teams navigate complex architectural decisions while making pragmatic trade-offs that match their stage and ambitions. You will build enduring customer relationships, advocate for startup needs with AWS product teams, and contribute technical content that helps the broader startup community succeed.
Keyjob responsibilities
- Partner with GenAI-focused startups to design end-to-end cloud architectures that support model development, training, tuning, and deployment across each stage of their growth
- Advise startup engineering teams on design trade-offs such as data store selection, scaling strategy, and performance optimization to deliver secure and reliable solutions
- Translate customer feedback into technical requirements and share them with AWS engineering teams to influence the platform roadmap
- Create and deliver technical content, including presentations, workshops, and reference architectures, that educates startups on effective use of AWS services
- Build technical relationships across the startup ecosystem, including accelerators, incubators, and venture capital partners, to expand awareness and adoption of AWS

After lunch you could pair with a customer's engineering team to troubleshoot a data ingestion bottleneck, followed by drafting a reusable reference architecture based on the patterns you identified.
Between customer engagements you will have dedicated time to explore new AWS services, sharpen your skills, and collaborate with teammates on upcoming technical talks or blog posts.
