Position: Staff Product Manager

Who Are We?

Postman is the world's leading API platform, used by more than 45 million+ developers and 500,000 organizations, including 98% of the Fortune 500. Postman is helping developers and professionals across the globe build the API-first world by simplifying each step of the API lifecycle and streamlining collaboration - enabling users to create better APIs, faster.

The company is headquartered in San Francisco and has offices in Boston, New York, Austin, Tokyo, London, and Bangalore - where Postman was founded. Postman is privately held, with funding from Battery Ventures, BOND, Coatue, CRV, Insight Partners, and Nexus Venture Partners. Learn more at  or connect with Postman on X via @get postman.

Postman's websites are among the highest-leverage product surfaces we have. They are where developers, teams, and technology leaders first encounter Postman, understand the breadth of our product suite, find the right solution for their work, and decide how to engage more deeply. We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to define and lead the product strategy for Postman's web experience across  and related properties.

You will own the web as a customer-facing product and a business system: shaping the journeys people experience, expanding high-quality top-of-funnel discovery across our product portfolio, and building the technical and measurement foundation that allows us to learn and improve quickly.

This role requires a strategic builder who can operate without a pre-existing playbook. You will make consequential prioritization decisions, turn ambiguous opportunities into a coherent roadmap, and lead across Product, Design, Engineering, Data, Product Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Brand, and Growth. Your success will be measured by the outcomes the web experience creates, not by the volume of pages launched or requests completed.

What

You'll Do
  • Set the web product vision and roadmap. Define the long-term strategy for  and related web properties. Establish how our web surfaces work together as a portfolio, which audiences and jobs they serve, and where we should invest to create the greatest customer and business value.
  • Expand product discovery and top-of-funnel reach. Create new ways for people to discover Postman's full product suite, capabilities, use cases, and solutions. Identify underserved audiences and high-potential entry points, then turn them into intuitive, scalable web experiences.
  • Own the most important web journeys. Map and improve the end-to-end paths from first visit through evaluation and entry into the product. Reduce friction, clarify value, and ensure the handoff between the public web experience and the authenticated product feels coherent.
  • Build a trusted analytics and attribution foundation. Partner with Data and Engineering to define instrumentation, event taxonomy, source and campaign attribution, identity stitching, funnel reporting, and decision-quality dashboards. Ensure we can understand what is working, for whom, and why.
  • Make technical search optimization a product capability. Own the product strategy for technical search (agent) engine optimization, including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, rendering, structured data, internal linking, redirects, canonicalization, and large-scale content or domain migrations.
  • Lead through influence. Bring together senior partners across Product, Marketing, Design, Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and Search Engine Optimization. Communicate strategy, decisions, results, and learning to executive audiences with clarity and conviction.
  • Build for a global audience. Develop a thoughtful approach to internationalization and localization so that Postman's web experiences can perform across markets, languages, and regional customer needs.
About You

Your foundation is product management. You bring enough fluency across growth, marketing, design, analytics, privacy, and web engineering to lead effectively at the seams, but you have built your career by owning products and outcomes.

  • Staff-level product leadership. You have 8+ years of product management experience, including significant ownership of customer-facing web products or digital experiences  have set strategy, built roadmaps, and delivered measurable results in complex organizations.
  • Demonstrated outcome ownership. You can point to web experiences you personally led that materially changed customer behavior or business performance. You explain the problem, strategic choices, tradeoffs,…
