Reporting Analyst - Power BI​/Operational Reporting

We are seeking experienced Reporting Analysts to support reporting needs associated with a large-scale healthcare platform migration. Contract position, 6+ months, remote.

These individuals will be responsible for developing, validating, and supporting internal operational, regulatory, audit, and clinical reporting, with data sourced directly from the Snowflake environment. You will work closely with business stakeholders, Business/Data Analysts, Data Engineers, QA Analysts, and other members of the migration program to ensure critical reports continue to provide accurate and actionable information as data moves into the future-state environment.

The primary focus will be on internal operational, regulatory, and audit reporting, utilizing Power BI with data sourced directly from Snowflake. Healthcare payer and claims experience is highly desired, as you will need to understand the business context behind the data and how reports are used to support operational decision-making, audit activities, and other critical business functions.

• Develop and support internal operational reports and dashboards using Power BI.
• Work directly with data residing within Snowflake to support reporting requirements.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements, business rules, metrics, and expected outcomes.
• Translate reporting requirements into effective dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Analyze and validate underlying data to ensure reporting accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with Business/Data Analysts and Data Engineers to understand source data, transformation logic, and data lineage.
• Validate reports as data transitions from legacy environments into the future-state platform.
• Identify reporting discrepancies and work with data and technical teams to determine root causes.
• Support operational and audit-related reporting requirements.
• Ensure reports provide business users with the information needed to effectively manage healthcare operations.
• Participate in UAT and reconciliation activities associated with migrated reports and data.

• Strong hands-on Power BI experience, including report and dashboard development.
• Experience working directly with data in a Snowflake environment.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
• Experience developing internal operational, audit, or enterprise reporting.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful reporting solutions.
• Strong understanding of data validation, reconciliation, and reporting accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders as well as technical/data teams.
• Experience supporting complex data, reporting, migration, or transformation initiatives.

• Healthcare payer / health insurance experience.
• Experience working with healthcare claims data.
• Understanding of claims processing and healthcare business operations.
• Experience supporting regulatory, compliance, or audit-related reporting.
• Experience migrating or rebuilding reports as part of a platform or data migration.
