Professional Liability Coverage Attorney-Full-Time

Location:
San Francisco, CA, 94104

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

• Licensed attorney in good standing in California.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong analytical and research skills.

• Experience interpreting insurance policies, drafting coverage opinions, and litigating coverage matters is preferred.

• Strong and persuasive oral and written communication skills.

• Ability to anticipate challenges and recommend solutions.

• Experience in conflict resolution and complex problem scenarios.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain a strong work ethic.

• Analyze complex insurance contracts and policy forms.

• Apply policy contract terms to a variety of claim scenarios.

• Stay current on legislative trends and court decisions and provide timely updates, insights, and recommendations.

• Produce comprehensive written opinions, including strategic recommendations, to business leaders.

• Work with claims management to provide expert legal advice on risk exposure, policy interpretation, litigation strategy, and claims handling protocols.

• Deliver high-quality work product within defined service level agreements with clients.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
