Position: San Francisco - Labor & Employment Associate (Mid-to-Senior-Level)

The Labor & Employment practice group is looking to hire an experienced mid-senior level associate to join our San Francisco office. The candidate must have five or more years of experience in employment litigation, including single plaintiff cases and wage and hour class actions. Candidate must also be familiar with Federal Court Rules and E-Discovery. This is a terrific opportunity for an attorney who is interested in being groomed towards partnership to help lead a diverse, supportive team within a friendly office community, has the drive to help build and grow the practice and seeks to work with fun clients on interesting cases.

The successful candidate must have excellent writing analytical skills, experience handling multiple cases, and be able to serve as point person on litigation, including supervising junior associates and staff and serving as client contact. Candidate must have demonstrated project management skills and be able to take a case and run with it. Deposition and/or courtroom experience required; employment advice and counseling experience desired.

Candidate should possess strong academic credentials from a nationally recognized law school and be licensed to practice in California. $295,000- $415,000. This represents the presently-anticipated low and high end of Reed Smith’s pay range for this position. Actual pay may vary based on various factors, including but not limited to location and experience.
