Attorney Position
As a Mid-Level Attorney with at least two years of employment law experience, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our clients' matters forward. The position is full-time, 2-3 days per week in San Francisco to foster team collaboration. You'll work independently and collaboratively, gaining career-building experience with ample opportunities for advancement. We believe in training and supporting our team, with a focus on early client contact and litigation responsibility.
The ideal candidate understands working in person 2-3 days a week is important, will have strong writing skills, a passion for plaintiff-side work, strong oral advocacy skills, a proactive approach to moving cases along, a savvy use of technology, initiative, a can-do attitude, and a growth mindset.
The position would report to the managing attorney and would be working with co-counsel, legal assistants, investigators, contractors, and IT support. The attorney will also be supported with technology platforms and will participate in team meetings, intakes, case evaluation, and all aspects of litigation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Executing high-quality legal work efficiently
- Communicating with clients and opposing counsel via email, phone, and in-person
- Handling settlement negotiations and mediations
- Drafting, reviewing, and researching briefs
- Conducting and defending depositions and court appearances
- Assisting with case strategy and management
- Managing and mentoring legal assistants
- Drafting discovery
- Representing clients in both court and arbitration
Requirements:
- Active member of the CA state bar and in good standing
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with at least two years of employment law experience.
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
- Experience in drafting legal documents and conducting legal research
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work independently
- Willingness to work nights and weekends when necessary

We love to help people learn and grow. But we don’t have the time for that right now. We need a mid-level attorney with experience in employment law and litigation. The ideal candidate will be able to take initiative on work that needs to be done and complete tasks with minimal hand holding.
Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive base compensation $135,000 - $175,000
