Salary: $150,000 – $220,000 per year

Responsibilities- Draft and prosecute patent applications for a broad range of inventions in areas such as software technologies, AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and encryption.
- Respond to office actions from patent offices around the world.
- Conduct patentability, freedom‑to‑operate, and infringement analyses.
- Provide strategic advice for patent portfolio development and management.
- Counsel clients on a variety of intellectual property matters, including patent strategy, portfolio analysis, and patent prosecution.
- Collaborate with technical experts to understand our client’s technologies and business goals.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on recent case law and developments related to software technologies, AI, cybersecurity, and encryption.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and training to clients on intellectual property matters.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in patent prosecution, preferably in software technologies, AI, and cloud computing.
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Strong technical understanding of software technologies, AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and encryption.
- Proven experience in drafting patent applications and responding to office actions.
- Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
- Strong client counseling and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Strong commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
