Cisco is seeking a Purchase Order Administrator to join their team in San Jose CA! The PO Administrator supports engineering teams by entering and tracking purchase orders for engineering hardware, prototype materials, and development services. This role is ideal for an early-career candidate who is detail-oriented, organized, and interested in learning how purchasing supports semiconductor product development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase Order Entry & Tracking
    - Enter purchase orders for engineering hardware, prototype materials, and lab equipment
  • Verify order details such as part descriptions, quantities, pricing, and delivery dates
  • Track open POs and follow up on order status as needed
  • Engineering & Team Support work with engineering teams to clarify purchasing requests
  • Documentation & Accuracy - maintain accurate PO records in purchasing or ERP systems
  • Invoice & Issue Support - assist with matching invoices to purchase orders
  • Reporting & Process Learning - maintain simple trackers and reports (Excel)
  • Learn procurement processes specific to fabless semiconductor development
Required

Skills & Qualifications
  • Education & Experience Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience)
  • 1-2 years of experience in administrative, purchasing, or operations support
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication
  • Willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Experience or interest in learning ERP or purchasing systems
